Terms of Service

The service

GroupArrivals is an online service for tracking the flights of groups of travelers, checking them in at airports and sharing their arrival status. These terms apply to the website, the web app at app.grouparrivals.com and the public links it creates.

In these terms, "we" means GroupArrivals, and "you" means the organization or person that creates an account and accepts these terms.

Accounts

You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what members you invite do there.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 18.

Groups, passes and plans

Without a pass or plan, you can upload one group's list and see it, without live tracking. A Group Pass is a one-time payment that covers one group, for the travelers and flights of its size and any top-ups bought for it, during the group's dates plus 7 days. A monthly plan covers the groups, flights, travelers and seats described on the pricing page, plus any top-ups for the month. A flight is one flight on one date in one group.

Limits are enforced by the service. When a pass ends, the group becomes read only until its data is deleted.

Prices, payment and refunds

Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page, plus any tax that applies. Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal.

Because a Group Pass gives access at once, it is not refundable after the group has started tracking flights, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, write to us and we will look at it fairly.

Your data

You keep all rights to the data you put into GroupArrivals, including traveler lists. You give us permission to use it only to run the service for you.

You confirm that you have the right to share travelers' details with us and that you have told them, where required, that their details will be used to coordinate their travel. Our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms and governs how we process travelers' personal data for you.

Flight information

Flight status comes from third-party flight data providers and airlines. It can be late, incomplete or wrong. GroupArrivals helps you coordinate; it does not replace official airline information, and you should not rely on it alone for safety decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not use GroupArrivals to track people without a legitimate reason, to break the law, to send spam, or to try to reach data that is not yours. Do not test the security of the service without our permission, other than through the reporting process in our security.txt file.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after notice where that is reasonable.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may improve or change features. If a change removes something important you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed connection, a missed transfer or lost profit, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the service

You can stop using GroupArrivals and delete your workspace at any time. We may end these terms if you seriously break them. When the account ends, you can export your groups first; the data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, unless the law where you live gives you the right to other rules. Placeholder pending legal review.
